As the Founder of the Steel Horse Sisterhood and the Director of Adventure, Joan Krenning is focused on transforming the Women’s Motorcycle Summit into the adventure of a lifetime for millions of women around the world.
Joan is also known as the founder of the headwrap brands, DesignWraps. Her career in the motorcycle industry began in Fort Collins, Colorado at John’s Harley-Davidson, when in 1986, she walked into the dealership and purchased a 1986 Softail Custom, Candy Apple Red in color. What made that so unique is Joan had never been on a motorcycle.
With her deep experience in the motorcycle world, Joan is leading the Women’s Moto Movement to reimagine how women mentor women and opening the dialogue about the meanings of Healthy Living, Healthy Riding and Becoming S.T.R.O.N.G., two phrases she has personally coined.
She possesses an unstoppable drive to “Become a Better Woman.” and moves through life with an energy and attitude that is contagious.
She is currently based in Mesa, Arizona is the Director of Adventure of the Women’s Motorcycle Summit and is just announcing her first spiritual retreat (November, 2018 – Scottsdale, AZ) and a mastermind class (Feb, 2018 – Mesa, AZ).
As a competitor in this game of life, Joan is currently studying with both the John Maxwell Team (as a life coach, teacher and speaker) and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a personal fitness health coach.
Outside of the classroom and the gym, you’ll find Joan on her motorcycle, with a camera in her hand as she immortalizes her adventures around the United States and spending time with her family.
