“To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity.” – Douglas Adams.
“Living a life of integrity means always speaking my sincerest truth.” – Tana Todd
Tana is into the Adventure (ADV) class of motorcycling. Her trusty steed “Thumper”, a 2013 BMW G650GS, has taken her across over 15,000 miles of western America, and she plans to devour the Continental Divide in the summer of 2018. Tana currently co-hosts a moto-vlogging YouTube channel with her partner, who rides a 2009 KTM 990 Adventure.
Tana Todd was born and raised fearless and independent in Spokane WA, by a father who built and rode motorcycles long before her coming into the wild blue world. “Don’t you EVER ride motorcycles. It’s a very fast way to die” he said after she returned home from a year deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. She honored his wishes until after his passing and has been drawn by the siren call of forbidden grey and brown ribbon ever since. Determined and defiant of sage advice, she pinned it full-throttle into the Adventure (ADV) class of motorcycling.
In recent years Tana has become an active moto-vLogger (video blogging) and can be seen on her YouTube channel called Colorado ADVlogs. The catharsis of moto-vlogging has inspired Tana to seek and tell the stories of other women riders, and you will find her documenting the Women’s Motorcycle Summit from behind a camera. At the WMS, Tana hopes to capture the stories of women riders and spread those truths to women in the world who haven’t discovered the joy of motorcycling… yet.
