Riding a motorcycle is, without a doubt, one of the most exciting activities human beings have ever created! Some people ride for the thrill, others for relaxation. While the reasons people ride vary greatly, most will openly admit that motorcycling is absolutely one of their favorite pastimes.

Based on more than 30 years of personal riding experience and countless students’ feedback, Joy Medved, founding owner of Joy of Motorcycling®, has created this half-day classroom workshop with numerous tips, techniques, and tactics specifically designed to help riders learn how to develop their own trusted situational awareness strategies to reduce risk, increase confidence, and have more fun motorcycling!

This fun, humorous and highly informative workshop provides participants the opportunity to engage in stimulating, interactive, and thought-provoking conversation about Motorcycle R.I.S.K. Management (MRM). MRM, a term coined by Joy Medved, includes many common and not-so-common motorcycling practices and strategies riders of all skill levels can use. It also includes several easy-to-use Joy of Motorcycling® proprietary frameworks focusing on managing risk and hazards, and situational awareness strategies.

One of the biggest reasons why many riders give up motorcycling is because they lack (or lose) confidence in their ability to handle unexpected situations on the ride. This workshop is designed to provide participants with a toolbox full of options for a wide variety of motorcycling situations, so they can spend less time worrying, and more time enjoy the ride!
